TSM-PC Certification Overview

Options Save Lives is now offering a first of its kind professional TSM Coach training program to help those in the Sinclair Method support community to build the skills needed to get started as a TSM Coach.

This course blends information necessary for understanding the unique nature of supporting individuals on the Sinclair Method with basic information necessary to act as an ethical, responsible, professional TSM Coach. The learning material assists students in understanding how differing goals (abstinence versus moderation), diverse drinking patterns (occasional binge, daily, all day drinking), and individual resilience and capacity can lead to advice being perfect for one person, and counter-productive for someone else.

While Sessions 1-3 are self-paced, every quiz and knowledge assessment is reviewed by the instructor and each student receives individual feedback on assignments. Course registration includes access to the instructor via email for additional questions, and individual course tutoring is available for an additional fee.

The TSM-PC certification is valid for 2 years from the date of completion*, and will be renewable upon successful participation in an online, interactive renewal workshop. Renewal workshops will begin in the fall of 2028 and are currently expected to be 2-hour workshops.
